The Cedarwood Atlast e.o. (essential oil) has an intense woody scent. Its earthy smell is accompanied with many benefits.
Unlike many essential oils, the Cedarwood Atlas oil is obtained from the tree. Other oils are obtained from a plant’s flowers, fruits, leaves, or roots.
The Cedarwood Atlas tree is native to the Atlas mountains. These mountains are found in Algeria and Morocco. It should not be confused with the North American Red Cedar. The name of the tree comes from the word ‘cedrus.’ Cedrus is a derivative from the Arabic word ‘kedron.’ Kedron means power.
There are many uses of the Cedarwood Atlas oil. These include:
